Families read our listings to decide whether a day out will work for their children. You can help make yours accurate.
Claim your listing
If you work at a venue we list, you can claim the listing and send us updates. We check what you send against your own website, add the date, and mark the source as "from the venue". Your listing can only get our Visited by us stamp once our family has been.
The questions we ask
- Your opening days and hours, and when school groups usually visit
- Ticket prices, any family ticket, and whether booking is needed
- Home-ed sessions or discounts: what runs, for which ages, how to book
- Is there taxidermy, skeletons or fossils, human remains or mummies? None, some or lots?
- Any dark themes, dim or loud areas, or live animals?
- Loud hand dryers or announcements, echoey spaces or strong smells?
- Is there a quiet space or somewhere to step outside, and can visitors leave and come back in?
- Are ear defenders welcome? Do you run relaxed or quiet sessions?
- Queues and time slots on a typical weekday
- Step-free access, buggies, café, picnic spots, dogs and parking
Please answer only what you know. "Not sure" is a perfectly good answer: we show it as "Not known yet" rather than guess.
